Ellen welcomed David Letterman, who shared how he felt when his iconic talk show ended and gave her advice on what he thinks she should do once her 19-season run ends. The legendary comedian also talked about his son Harry and reminisced about one of Ellen’s appearances on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”

His wit is on fire. He is young on the inside and looks great, just different.
Dave hasn’t lost a step, he’s actually sharper and happier than his last years on air.
Ellen is pretty self absorbed, ya think ?
Dave is such a legend and an icon. Late night tv just hasn’t been the same since he left. Colbert is doing a great job though!
Oh my gosh! We need you both! The world needs you too! So much love and respect from the bottom of my heart! ❤️❤️👏
Both of them have inspired me a lot in their own ways 🙂 Love you Ellen & Best Wishes 🙂
